THAT’S NOT INSPIRATION
In the comic strip Blondie by Chic Young, Dagwood is in his usual position of sleep. It’s morning and he is supposed to be getting ready for work. Blondie comes in and say, “Dagwood, you really must get up!” Dagwood doesn’t even move but replies, “I can’t, I have no inspiration.” With that Blondie leaves the room. But she comes back, only this time she is holding a picture of Dagwood’s tyrannical boss, Mr. Dithers. She says, “Look!” Dagwood looks and screams, in “Aughh- h!!” In the last frame, you see Dagwood standing there trembling. His hand is on his heart, trying to calm it down. He says, “That’s not inspiration… it’s terrorism!”
