TRUST IN GOD
We were taking a canoe trip down the Illinois River and in one of the canoes a Counselor from our 7th grade camp was discussing with Scott, a 12 year old from our church, his experience with trying out “snuff” on the q. t. with two other boys, the night before. “I got really sick on the stuff,” said Scott. Counselor: “What did you think of the whole experience?” Scott: “I wouldn’t ever try it again. But please don’t tell Bill (the Director).” Counselor: “But God knows what you did. What’s the difference between God knowing and Bill knowing?” Scott: “Yeah, but God wouldn’t tell my parents!”
