COUNTERPOINT
Judas was a man of action
Impassioned – committed – intent
He knew the Lord, he walked with him
He handled the money they spent
He even knew regret…
When his deed of betrayal was done
To the priests he called it sin,
But to Christ he would not come./Zealous, driven…but unwilling to speak
To the one with the power
To make him complete. Shirley Bedient. From Alive Now, March/April 1988
