REDEEMING LOVE EXTENDED
She sits in the darkness, weeping.
I weep too, wanting so much to unlock her heart.
She clutches the key so tightly.
So why do I sit patiently, yet silently beside her in the darkeness?
Don’t I care? Her cries cut deeply.
For years I have been here, beside her, whispering that I love her.
She hears, then gazes at Me and smiles, nodding her head. She knows.
The light returns, but only briefly, soon to be snuffed out. Darkness.
She can’t, she won’t receive My love.
Am I undesirable? Am I not trustworthy? Am I not sincere?
“Oh No,” she sobs. “It’s just that… I’m not good enough, not worthy to have You love me.”
My mind slowly drifts back to the day I made her, delicately forming her being with My hands. And years later, when she had chosen her own way, the same hands, yet now…
