Imagine, if you will, one of the Magi announcing to his wife that he and his friends are going on a long trip to see a newborn child …

“You are going to visit a what?” “A baby.” “I thought you said baby.” “Yes. A special child who may some day become a king.” “And what makes you think he’s been born?” “When we were studying the stars the other night, we saw in the Western sky a remarkable configuration of Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars.
