One Sunday morning a New York City Pastor preached a sermon entitled, “The Tenacity of a Bulldog.” In the crowded Church that day was an executive of the Mack Truck Company who, as was his custom, was wearing a pin on his lapel which depicted the Mack Truck logos: a ferocious-looking bulldog. Later, during the “coffee klatch” in the Church basement, he was talking with a small group which included the preacher.
