In Gold We Trust?

In today’s Gospel Lesson, Jesus tells us that “Whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for My sake, he will save it” (Lk. 9:24). More and more these days, people seem to think they have discovered that Jesus has things upside down.
