Harold Kushner, who wrote the best-selling book, “When Bad Things Happen To Good People,” was being interviewed about his newest book, “When Children Ask About God.” “What if my 6 1/2-year-old son said to you,” the reporter asked, “‘Who is God?’ or ‘What is God?’ how would you respond?” The author replied:
I would say “I don’t know What God is. I can only talk to you about experiencing God.” I would say, “Maybe the real question is not ‘Who is God?’ but ‘When is God? What has to be happening in our lives to feel God’s Presence?'”
