It shall come to pass in the coming day of the Lord,” wrote the Prophet Isaiah, that all the nations shall “stream toward the house of the Lord … and many peoples shall come and say: ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord … that He may teach us His ways and that we shall walk in His paths’…

and they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not rise against nation,
neither shall they learn war any more” (Is. 2:2-3,4).

While the Apostles were in hiding after Jesus’ death on the Cross, He “came and stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you … Peace be with you” (Jn. 20:19,21).
