The story is told of a woman who was trying desperately to find God. And the more she searched, the more frustrated she became over her inability to experience His Presence. One night she had a dream in which she was standing before a thick plate-glass window. And the more she looked at that window the more it seemed that she could see God on the other side. Over-and-over again she hammered on the window, trying to attract God’s attention, but without success.
