Good morning boys and girls! Today I want you to listen to a little prayer a young person has written:
Dear God,
So far today I am being good.
I haven’t been mean to anyone.
I haven’t been grumpy.
I haven’t been stingy.
I haven’t been disobedient.
But I’m still sleepy and as soon as
I get out of bed, God,
I might need Your help to start the day!
That’s a funny prayer boys and girls because even though the writer claims to have been good that day, he hasn’t even gotten out of bed yet. Of course, we’ve all been good before…
