Doubt no longer but believe
There is something about this time of year—a tilt in the light, a fragrance in the breeze—that makes the world feel like it’s holding its breath, waiting for the next miracle.
James J. Kilpatrick, the late newspaper journalist and thoughtful observer of ordinary wonders, once called this “The Miracle Season of Spring.” And as you dig in your garden and smell the damp earth, you may begin to understand what he meant.
Of course, these days, wonder can feel like a luxury. We live in an anxious time, surrounded by fear and uncertainty. Trust feels fragile. Doubt hangs thick in the air—not only about God, but about one another, the future, and whether anything solid still holds.
