As she was about to turn off the bedroom light, the little boy said, “Mom, I’m scared. Mommy please stay with me all night.”
Smiling, the boy’s mother gave him a big hug. Then she said, “I can’t stay. I have to stay in daddy’s room.”
There was a pause then a shaky little voice answered, “The big baby.”
Another little fellow, fearful of thunder and lightening, preferred not to go to bed at all …
His mother said, “There is nothing to be afraid of. God will take care of you.” The boy replied, “I know. But He can take care of us better if we’re all together. Then he won’t have to keep running up to my room.”
