We begin this morning with a question: What good will a few extra dollars do you if you are not experiencing the good life? What good will fame, or prestige or power do you if you are not sharing in God’s Divine Life of Love? What good will any of it do you if you are not experiencing the peace of mind and heart and soul that the world cannot give?

There is a documentary making the rounds lately with the provocative title, “God is the Bigger Elvis.” It chronicles the life of an amazing woman named Dolores Hart. Perhaps some of you are familiar with her story. Dolores Hart was an emerging talent on the big screen, co-starring with Elvis Presley in the 1957 Paramount motion picture, “Loving You.” The film famously featured the very first on-screen kiss for both the king of rock-and-roll and the 19-year old actress.
