A woman and man who had been married for twenty-five years were looking through the family photo album. As the pictures took them back through the years, the wife began commenting on how much hair the husband used to have and how handsome it made him look. Later, the husband saw an ad that read: “Miracle formula. Will cover bald spots in twenty-four hours.” Excited and curious both, he called the manufacturer. “How can you cover my bald spot in twenty-four hours?” he asked. “We’ve got a patented miracle formula,” came the reply. “It’s basically a mixture of persimmon and alum.” The caller was skeptical. “You mean that will grow hair?” he asked. “No,” came the reply, “it doesn’t grow hair. What it does is shrink your head to fit what you have.”
