The Holy Trinity

We live in what you might call a sophisticated age—one that prizes intellect, reason, and scientific proof. Ours is a time of remarkable knowledge. But when it comes to faith, there’s a danger in over-intellectualizing. We risk turning the mystery of God into a math problem to be solved rather than a relationship to be lived. The doctrine of the Trinity, perhaps more than any other, reminds us that the heart of Christian faith cannot be reduced to concepts or slogans. It is mystery embraced through love.

And so, as we honor reason, we must also reckon with its distortion. We live in a world that often weaponizes truth—bending it, blurring it, burying it. In a time of misinformation and manipulation, the very idea of truth can feel endangered. The Spirit of Truth, Jesus promises, will guide us—not just into facts or formulations, but into a way of life. That promise speaks not only to the intellect but to the soul.
