Estrangement, bitterness, misunderstanding, jealousy, and even deep hatred between parents and children, between husbands and wives, between peoples of different Nations, between the races, between the sexes, between the religions. Even between members of Christ’s own community there are deep divisions.
How very much we need the reconciling, harmonizing, healing Christ Spirit to break down the walls and to bring us together!
Many years ago, the famous comedian, Groucho Marx, received an invitation to join a certain organization. “No thanks,” Groucho replied. “I wouldn’t join any organization that would have me as a member.”
How many of us could make that statement? For better or for worse, we live in a highly organized Society.
