One Sunday morning after Church, the woman offered a ride to an elderly man crippled with arthritis. She did not know where he lived, but she had watched him leave Church each Sunday and hobble slowly and painfully down the street. When the man accepted the ride and invited her into his dwelling, she learned that he had little food, no family, and a bare apartment. She also learned that, despite his pain, he walked almost two miles to and from Church each Sunday, and that he liked to get to Church about 15 minutes early in order to have time to pray alone. With some misgivings, the woman decided to give up her extra sleep on Sunday mornings, and offered to drive the man to Church each week.
