RESTRAINT OF THE GROWLER
It’s a very scarey feeling when we are walking down the street at night and hear the fierce growling of a dog. Is the dog restrained or is he at large. If the dog is restrained, we are safe – if not, we may be in trouble. Satan is like a big dog that wants to devour you and me. He wants to take us away from love for God and from doing what God desires for us. When we are properly protected by God and by his hedge with our armor in place, the devil growls but can’t bite. He’s restrained – we are safe. God protects us so that we can live a victorious life in Christ.
