THE BEAUTY REMAINS
The French painter Renoir (Ren – wah) continued his painting, even when he experienced excruciating pain from rheumatoid arthritis. When asked why he continued to torture himself in this way, his answer revealed his heart. He said, “The pain passes, but the beauty remains.”
