KOSTNER ON FAME
According to the wire reports, Kevin Kostner has gobs of money and heaps of acclaim following the success of his film Dances With Wolves. Recently he was asked how he likes being a big star. Kostner replied, “Are you kidding? I would trade it all for anonymity again.” He then went on to say that he couldn’t think of any benefits to mega- stardom. “Those things don’t help you get up in the morning. Fame doesn’t tell you when you’re right or wrong. I can’t think of anything good that comes out of it.” Then he added, “Let’s modify that. There’s not anything that comes out of it that I really need.”
