Members of a Bible study group were discussing the Mystery of the Blessed Trinity. One man complained: “I don’t have any trouble seeing God in the image of a merciful, caring, benevolent Father and I don’t have any trouble seeing Jesus Christ as the faithful, obedient, beloved Son, but who is this Holy Bird?” And he held up a picture of a dove descending on the Apostles, one of the most powerful symbols of the Holy Spirit. A woman in the group then expressed a radically different feeling: “I must tell you,” she said
“that the Holy spirit is my most immediate experience of God.” She went on to explain:
