UNCONDITIONAL WORTH
When we are born into an earthly family, we are given a name, all the provisions of food, clothing, and shelter to sustain us, and perhaps we are even made the beneficiaries of savings accounts for our futures. All of the father’s abilities to provide for his child’s welfare start to work on the child’s behalf even before he or she begins to perform. Children are bound to their earthly fathers by the unconditional right of birth, not by their ability to perform. From Search for Significance, McGee, pg. 138
