Adversity | Assurance | Evil | Position | Satan | Success

LIMITED STRATEGY
In an Air Force water survival school off the coast of Florida, I learned some of the finer points of fighting sharks. “If a shark approaches with jaws shut,” the instructor suggested, “try to kick him on the snout to shoo him away. However, if the shark attacks with jaws open, thrust a leg deep into the throat and try to do as much damage as possible. Of course,” he continued with a smirk, “you can only do this twice.” Satan is more dangerous than any shark. Strategies to fight evil that involve returning violence-for-violence will have as much success as a leg-thrust in a shark’s mouth. We will not defeat Satan on his turf and by his rules.
