WHICH KIND OF SEA ARE YOU?
Two Seas in Palestine
In Palestine there are two seas;
One is the Sea of Galilee.
It’s a beautiful sea–the Sea of Galilee;
Into it the Jordan River flows,
And from it the Jordan River goes!
On its waters fishermen ply their trade;
And with their catch they feed their families;
In its edges little children play,
And on its shores people build their homes.
It’s a beautiful sea–the Sea of Galilee;
It not only gets; it also gives.
It not only receives; it also shares.
For into it the Jordan River flows,
And from it the Jordan River goes.
But there is another sea in Palestine;
Into it the same Jordan River flows,
But from it no river goes!
It only gets; it never gives.
It only receives; it never shares!
