In life and in death, Love has the last word
Did you ever stop to think what life would be like if you honestly believed that God was against us, against you — or, at best, indifferent? Imagine that for just a moment. Feel what that would mean to your life, to your family, to your work, to your feelings about the world, and about death.
A young mother with several children was telling a friend what kind of day she’d had: husband out of town, electric appliances broken down, children just impossible because it was raining outside, everything going wrong. She said, “I even got a busy signal when I called Dial-A-Prayer.”
We all have these periods when we feel that everything is going wrong. But just imagine what it would be like if the God who made us turned on His busy signal so that we were completely out of touch, with no hope of getting through, ever! I’m not talking about periods…
