A STRONG FOUNDATION
In San Francisco it has been discovered that frame houses stand up better against earthquakes than any other types of construction. It has further been noted that those frame houses that are bolted to their foundations will stand intact during a quake that registers point 8 on the scale. Those houses that are simply sitting upon their foundations, tend to slide off and collapse, while those that are firmly attached to their foundation stand solid. We as believers need to be firmly attached to our foundation, the rock of our Salvation Jesus Christ. So that when the storms and earthquakes of life test us, we will stand firm. Dr. Earl Palmer, Billy Graham School of Evangelism, Wheaton College, June 18, 1991
