Stocks/Economy: PRESIDENTIAL INVESTMENT It is reported that a few years back the President of the United States was trying to paint a brighter economic picture to the press than his administration had reason to take credit for. The President answered, “If I wasn’t the President of the United States, I would invest heavily in the stock market.” An unidentified voice from the back of the room responded, “If you weren’t the President, we would all invest heavily in the stock market.”
