FEWER INSULTS
The chairman of the deacon board approached the new pastor, “Now Pastor, we only pay our pastors $50.00 a week around here.” “Why, that’s an insult!” responded the pastor. The deacon agreed, “Yes, but we only pay every other week. That way you aren’t insulted as often.”
