AN OUTDOOR MAN
When a 90-year-old Ozarker was asked how he kept in such good condition, he gave this answer: “When my wife and I married 60 years ago, she and I agreed that if I lost my temper she would remain silent, and if she lost her temper I would leave the house. I attribute my good health to the well-known advantages of an outdoor life.” From “The Way I Heer’d It” by Jim Reed, The Ozarks Mountaineer, May- June, 1985
