GETTING SERIOUS ABOUT PRAYER
The little boy was accustomed to having a night light in his bedroom. His parents decided he was old enough to sleep in the dark. His mother told him about their decision, tucked him in, turned out the light and began leaving the room. Out of the dark, he called out, “Do I have to Mommy?” She told him, “Yes, darling, you’re a big boy now.” There was a pause, then he replied, “Well, then, may I get up and say my prayers again — louder?” Funny, Funny World
