RAISING FUNDS
Rev. Michael Mitchell, Vicar for Temporal Affairs of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Jose (California), was commenting on plans to spend $1.8 million for renovation and construction of the Old St. Joseph’s Church in downtown San Jose: “We raise our money the old- fashioned way. We go out and ask for it!”
