H. True stories are always the ones that have great impact. One such story that I found quite inspiring is Colonel Heath Bottomly’s story, Prodigal Father, published by G/L Regal Books. Colonel Bottomly’s story of his life as a command pilot with more than 5000 hours flying time and some 300 combat missions is in itself an incredible story. But of particular poignancy is the story of how his son was used to bring him to faith in Christ. One story from Heath Bottomly’s life as a boy is a great illustration of how one life can make a difference. Bottomly tells the story of his Dad who raised him and his six brothers in Montana. One of those delicious other moments of terror and exhilaration occured when I was nine years old. It was August, 1928.
