NEGATIVE ATTITUDE
A man stopped by a roadside cafe for a break in his trip. He went inside and sat down to order a cup of coffee. Because he was looking for a bit of conversation with the waitress when she brought the coffee. He said to her “It sure looks like rain, doesn’t it?” And she responded snappishly, “I can’t help what it looks like, we sell it for coffee.” Chestnuts, 1981
