THE TREASURE AND THE KNOWLEDGE
An ancient Rabbinical legend tells of a man named Simon who lived in Krakow, Poland. In the story, Simon has a vivid dream about a great treasure buried under a bridge in the city of Prague, many miles away. Being a poor man, the dream of the treasure excites him. When the dream reoccurs several times, Simon decides that he must go to Prague and search for the treasure. When he reaches Prague, Simon instinctively goes directly to the bridge of his dreams. A sentry sees him probing around and demands to know what he is doing. Simon tells the sentry about his dreams and his long journey from Krakow. “You foolish man,” the sentry replies. “Don’t you know you can’t believe everything you dream?
