A little girl had been misbehaving. Her mother sent her to her room, saying, “Pray to God and tell God what a naughty little girl you have been.” The little girl went up to her room, but came back down almost immediately. Whereupon her mother asked, “Did you tell God how naughty you have been?” “Yes,” she replied, “but God told me to go back downstairs because there are a lot of little girls worse than I am.”
