You can decide for Christ or against Christ. That’s anyone’s choice. But if you decide for Christ, then you have no choice. He calls you as He calls those first disciples, to unconditional obedience.

When he was asked why he hadn’t yet taken the step to become a baptized Christian, he said, “My whole experience in the church had been like climbing up on a train and asking the conductor ‘how much?’ And then I heard the conductor answer, ‘your life.’
“When I heard that, I got scared,” the man said. “And I went and hid in the caboose. And I’ve been hiding ever since.”
When Jesus calls us out of the caboose, so to speak, and into the ministry of a baptized Christian, we feel like it’s “mission impossible.”
