Children | Grandparents

Children, be obedient to your parents (Eph. 6:1).

“Timmy” was an active little boy, to put it rather mildly. He couldn’t sit still. He was always on the go. “Let’s do something” was his favorite greeting to his parents when he got up in the morning. And so, it was with a little sigh of relief that his parents deposited him at his grandmother ’s house for a two-week visit. On the first morning of the visit, Timmy said to his grandmother, “Let’s do something.” And so they played some games. Then Timmy, faithful to a promise he made to his parents, sat down and wrote this letter:

“Dear Mom and Pop, it sure is nice here and we’re having lots of fun. This morning me and Grandma played cops and robbers, and she’s gonna bake me a whole bunch of brownies — as soon as I untie her. Love, Timmy.”
