“How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” (Psalms 119:103).

Author Dolores Curran writes in her book Traits of a Healthy Family:

Recently, for my weekly newspaper column, I invited seventy-five fourth and fifth graders to submit the words they most like to hear from their mother. Here are the five big winners, repeated over and over by almost all the kids:

• I love you.
• Yes.
• Time to eat.
• You can go.
• You can stay up late.
