“. . . unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven” (Matthew 18:3).
A little girl had a problem. She was very much worried because her brother had built some traps to catch rabbits the next morning. The little girl loved rabbits and didn’t want any of them hurt or killed by getting caught in those nasty traps. In spite of her tearful pleas, the little girl’s brother refused to change his plans. Nevertheless, when she went to bed that night, she no longer seemed concerned. Much to her brother ’s surprise, she closed her eyes in an attitude of quiet confidence. Later, she explained, “I prayed that God wouldn’t let those cute little rabbits get caught in those cruel traps. And then I went outside and broke them into a million pieces.”
