A French Canadian newspaper editor was born with a deformed right leg. The limb was so shriveled and atrophied that it couldn’t bear any weight. It was useless. When he was a very little boy the leg didn’t bother him much, but as he became older he realized that with a useless leg he was unable to keep up with the other boys. He couldn’t run or climb trees or compete in games that required athletic ability. Consequently, he began to develop a sense of inferiority.
