“Well now is the favorable time; this is the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 6:2).
A man set out to purchase a compact disc player. But what kind of CD should he buy? He begins to inquire, and he discovers that the state of the art is always improving. He decides to wait a month or two. Perhaps the quality will be higher then, and maybe prices will go down. Two months later he hears a rumor that a new invention has come along that one day will make the existing compact discs obsolete. Again he decides to “wait and see.” And the sad fact is that the man keeps on waiting so long for something to happen that he never listens to any music.
