THE RIGHT WAY
Jim was walking down the street to have breakfast at the corner cafe when a young man slammed on his brakes and stopped right next to Jim. The young driver hurriedly rolled down his window and told Jim that he was late for an appointment and asked if Jim knew where the courthouse was. Jim knew exactly where the courthouse was, so he told the driver: “Sure, go three blocks and turn left, go to the second stop light, and turn right. The courthouse is six blocks straight ahead.” The elated driver thanked Jim and confidently continued his search for the courthouse. There is just one problem. As Jim walked toward the cafe, he realized he had made a slight error in his directions. He told the driver to turn left instead of right.
