A SAFE HAVEN
On the day of their daughter’s baptisms, Chuck and Wendy Warren invited friends and family to come to their home for a meal of celebration. Chuck told me they lived in Mary Morgan Gonzalez’s home. A few years earlier I had been privileged officiate her funeral as she had been a member until her death on February 15, 1994. I thought it was wonderful that Chuck and Wendy were able to live in this beautiful home. They have renovated it and prepared it for the birth of their first child Rachel who was born April 17, 1996. While at their home, Chuck and Wendy said they wanted to show me their pets. Outside they pointed to a large oak tree that overshadowed their home. I saw ten to twelve different nests in the tree.
