Millard Fuller, the founder of HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, was a millionaire by the age of twenty- nine. As such, he could buy his wife “everything” he thought she possibly could want. But one day he came home to discover that she had left him. Millard went after her. He caught up with her on a Saturday night in a hotel in New York City. They talked into the wee hours of the next morning as she poured out her heart and made him see that she wasn’t interested in the things he was buying her.
