A HORSE & A HOLE
A couple were hiking across a mountain meadow when they came across an open hole. Wondering how deep the hole was, they began to throw rocks into the hole. When there was no sound of the rocks hitting the bottom of the hole, they concluded that this was either an extremely deep hole or the rocks were too small to make enough of a sound to hear. They found a tree branch and threw the branch into the hole. No sound! They then went to look for something larger. They found a large log and both drug the log to the hole. They threw the log into the hole, peeked over the edge and waited to hear a sound. There was still no sound. As they were peering into the hole, they heard an approaching noise from behind them.
