TURKEYS & WALNUTS
Some Americans who live in Afghanistan wanted to find a turkey that was suitable for Thanksgiving Dinner, but the turkeys were too skinny. Someone remembered that if you feed a turkey walnuts it will quickly gain weight. The American got some walnuts, shelled them, and threw the walnuts on the ground. But the turkey would not eat them! The next step was to take the turkey by the neck and stuff some of the walnuts down his throat. Once the turkey tasted the walnuts, he could not stop eating them. People may not initially have a taste for the Bible, but once the Lord touches our hearts and we taste and see that he is good, we develop a hunger for his word.By Ashton T.
