HEIGHT OR LENGTH
Two fellows were measuring a pole. One guy was holding it up, and the other was trying to run the tape up it. A man was driving by and saw what these two were trying to do. He pulled up along-side the men, and asked, “Why don’t you lay the pole down, and it will be easier to measure?” So the two men lay the pole down and began measuring. As soon as the man drove off, one of the two fellows said to the other, “Put that pole back up the way it was; I wanted to measure the height of the pole, not the length.”
