SLOW MEMORIES
Two elderly women were discussing some of the problems encountered as they were growing older. One woman observed, “The worst thing about growing older is when you begin to lose your memory. I’ve known you since we were children, but now I can’t even remember your name. What is it?” After a short pause, the second woman answered with her own question: “Do you need an answer on that right now?”
