SIN & ELECTRICITY
Dealing with sin is like dealing with electrical problems: 1. We know there is a problem, but the location is not known. (unconcern) 2. When we go searching for it, the problem is evasive. (denial) 3. It takes some intense searching to find the problem. (Like the song: “Search me O God . . . and see if there be any wicked way in me.”) 4. When discovered, it in a lot of cases, takes very little effort to fix the problem. (Psalm 51 Confession) 5. Once taken care of, what was fixed works. (Psalm 51:12) Summary: In our walk with God, we may not want to face up to sin. In some cases, it may be an unknown sin that is hindering our walk with God. To restore our walk with God, we must acknowledge our sin before God and in some cases to the one whom we have offended. Then we can ask for forgiveness and by faith, we…
